2 Rivers Remix and the U’mista Cultural Society is excited to welcome you to a special Movable Feast in ‘Na̲mg̲is Territory on beautiful Cormorant Island.

From August 23 to 30, 2025, 2 Rivers Remix (2RMX) – in partnership with the Toquaht, Ahousaht and ‘Namgis Nations – will present a FREE 3-stop tour of contemporary Indigenous Music, art and culture at these select Indigenous communities across Vancouver Island, BC.

The 2RMX Movable Feast: Island Tour launches in Macoah on Saturday, August 23, followed by Ahousaht on Tuesday, August 26, and ending in ‘Yalis on Saturday, August 30. Attendees can expect to see live contemporary music performances alongside traditional songs and dances, with food and market vendors at each Movable Feast event.

2 Rivers Remix Society is the instigator and organizer of The 2 Rivers Remix (2RMX), an annual 3-day Feast of contemporary Indigenous Music and Culture. Since its incorporation in 2018 2RMX was hosted by the Nlaka’pamux Nation in Tl’kemtsin/Lytton, BC, until the devastating fire that incinerated most of our host community in 2021. In 2022, 2 Rivers Remix Society evolved towards a decentralized, Indigenized feast model called the “Movable Feast”, that brings a series of contemporary Indigenous music and culture events direct to multiple small indigenous communities across BC.
