Orca Lodge

Accessible by a ferry from Port McNeill, Orca Lodge is located in the village of Sointula, on Malcolm Island, British Columbia. The Orca Lodge contains two completely self-contained suites on the Sointula waterfront. The lower suite sleeps five, while the upper suite sleeps six. Both have private entrances, BBQ’s, WI-FI and all amenities. This is a great place for family get togethers, reunions, fishing groups or getaway weekends.

As this is a self-catering accommodation, once your reservation is booked you will receive instructions on how to check in/out for the property. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform Orca Lodge of your expected arrival time in advance by entering in the note section of our booking engine.

Watch fabulous sunsets, sleep to the sound of waves on the beach, and enjoy the sunshine on the deck. There are very good hiking trails for all levels, with no worry about bears and cougars and most trails and beaches are off leash for well-behaved dogs. The local museum is a fascinating place to learn about Sointula’s Finnish past. There are also wonderful craft stores and studios where you can see what our local artists are making. The area is popular for biking (Tofino has a free bike program), fishing and best of all, amazing whale watching and grizzly bear watching.
